Josh Steinman founded PermitPipeline after 20 years in general construction. He started as a carpenter, moved into estimating, and worked his way up to project manager on high-end residential and small-commercial projects across the western U.S. He started PermitPipeline because the same problem kept showing up on the contractor side of every project he worked: by the time a job hit the bid list, the relationships were already set, and the contractors with the best information always seemed to be one step ahead.
